ISYS:web includes a high-level, object-oriented interface to the ISYS engine. The interface is implemented as a set of COM objects that encapsulates core ISYS:sdk functionality. Examples and interface definitions are included in VBScript, C#, VB.NET and Java. Use ISYS:web if you intend to implement:

• A client/server search application
• A multi-threaded search server using web technologies such as HTTP or SOAP
• A solution that requires batch or "near real time" index update facilities
• A solution leveraging your familiarity with calling COM/.NET/Java objects
